What is the AIJU Games and Toys Guide?
The AIJU Games and Toys Guide is a guide published annually by the Toy Technology Institute in order to provide consumers with detailed and useful information about quality games and toys that are appropriate to the recreational and educational needs of minors.
This Guide recommends a selection of good toys that consumers can find on the market. This selection results from rigorous studies; on the one hand, the toy must comply with the EN-71:1988 safety regulations, and, on the other hand, a pedagogical study is carried out where the following criteria are evaluated: play value, durability, family reactions, versatility, design and packaging, learning potential according to the ESAR system, clarity and presentation of instructions, toy accessibility, interest for specific sensory stimuli, etc.
